EIL UK has adapted the HOST UK Programme to take account of COVID-19
The impact of COVID-19 has been felt worldwide and, like everyone else, we’ve had to make significant changes to how our programmes operate.
The health and safety of everyone involved in our programmes has always been, and will remain, a priority for EIL UK.
As the COVID-19 situation changes, different rules apply in different parts of the UK and to international mobility.
We continue to monitor developments, follow Government guidance and public health advice, and update and adapt our programmes accordingly.
Programmes are operating with new procedures in place to minimise the risk of spreading or contracting Coronavirus. Everything we do now takes more time
and requires extra thought about how to do it safely. This involves the introduction of new procedures and additional health and safety measures, such as PPE.
Our staff have done a marvellous job in rising to new challenges and finding creative solutions to adapt our programmes and keep everyone involved as safe as possible.
Some of our intercultural learning programmes, such as Homestays, Weekend Visits, Day Visits and Festive Visits are up and running and other programmes will resume when possible.
